Sherman M4A2

well i did made another photo of tank and this a sherman M4 (i think) A2 version, if i mistake than i am sorry, how every this store of the tank is also abboned around town Overloon, this tank did destroyed by three hits (say the book... sadly not with what?) also the crew of this tank are sadly killed by last hit... in the book are old photos and i can see that if the museum pieces getting inside building they did getting little clean up and repainted it... the tour guide was well wrong because he did say only M4 A1 tank was and it is not because front and turret are different tank by M4A1...remember that is now tank number 3 that left behind that small town....

oke to little clear up for some people wanna know about operation: aintree... well if you know the war classis movie "bridge to far" with sean connery (also really good movie) you know that it call operation market garden.... as dutch people say after the war and new studies it was faillure mission... so to cross the Rhine river they must need different plan. so they wanna get around city Nijmegen and getting so to germany...

well good plan and that was well better than charge in calevary style to Arnhem... but americans getting cocky with there courage and did getting over look information they getting. because they though that just 2.000 soldiers around citys Venray and Overloon but they did getting with 15.000 man and with full panzer unit with Panther tanks... so easy-walk-around-battle was really second Cean (large city in France) in Netherlands with only and first Tank battle... (really british and americans soldiers and officers saying it was thougher than in Cean)

note: also in the wing about holocaust and other stuff there was also memorial about docters and resistance wanna help jews and other people that needed... mine grandmother did in the resistance delivert huge batterys from North Holland to Groning Province state on a bike with Wooded wheels (germans need the rubber for there wheels) also she shall never telling fully details but for mine uncle and i found map about resistance news paper and little village where mine grandmother did hide mine grandfather (he was docter and he did hate Nazism ideals) was on the map of Netherlands and mine grandmother did not getting her special award after the war (in Netherlands law say that other people must call person for there special deeds for earn medal about the war and mine grandmother hate that her own childerns must calling that department for her own deeds) so little light on her village did made us (mine uncle and I) bigger award that she did survive it...
